In 2014, Restaurant Monarh opened its doors in the 125-year-old monastery and national monument 'Het Heilige Hart' in Tilburg. Just four years later, Monarh became the first and only restaurant in Tilburg ever to be awarded one Michelin star. With high-quality service, an innovative kitchen, and unique preparation methods, Monarh has positioned itself exceptionally well in the Dutch fine dining landscape.

"Michelin-starred restaurants sometimes have the impression of being a bit formal, but at Monarh, we create a cozy Brabantian atmosphere." says Ralph Kappé, the host and co-owner of Restaurant Monarh. When owner Ralph talks about Monarh, his passion shines through. "I've been working in the hospitality industry since I was fourteen, and eventually, I entered the world of Michelin-starred dining. I wouldn't want it any other way." This passion is clearly reflected in the quality of service, food, and drinks.

Transition from Lightspeed
In September 2023, Monarh made the transition from Lightspeed to the Mr. Winston Hospitality Point of Sale System. "Mr. Winston is a Dutch company, their team came to discuss the possibilities, and the communication was much better. That instilled confidence", said Ralph.
User-Friendly System
When we asked Ralph about the benefits of Mr. Winston, he mentioned that the system is very user-friendly. Just one week after the initial contact regarding a possible switch, Mr. Winston was operational at Monarh.
